Primary Teacher

St Joseph’s School, Clare, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our school team/community.

The Opportunity:

This is a permanent full-time 1.0 FTE teaching position, commencing at the beginning of the 2027 school year.

The role requires a committed educator who values collaboration and demonstrates flexibility in a small school setting. We seek an individual who contributes to the vibrant culture of our school, with a willingness to undertake additional training as needed.

You Will:

• Demonstrate an understanding of current Pedagogy
• Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity, faith formation and Josephite Charism of the school and parish community
• Design inclusive learning programs with a high emphasis on student engagement, inquiry, active learning and creativity
• Plan, teach and assess authentic and differentiated learning experiences using the Australian Curriculum and Crossways
• Be familiar with emerging information and communication technologies and be willing to integrate ICTs across the curriculum to support student learning
• Promote student personal responsibility through an ability to make children's learning fun and enjoyable
• Develop positive relationships with students, staff and parents
• Be willing to participate in all aspects of school life
