Role description

Blending old with new, the beautiful Cabra campus is just 10 minutes south of Adelaide, CBD. Cabra Dominican College offers an exceptional Catholic co-educational experience for students in Years 7 – 12. Cabra Dominican College is seeking an outstanding candidate for the position of Diverse Learning Curriculum Support to commence as soon as possible.

The position is a permanent contract for 30 hours per week, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) and 40 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Student Learning: Assist students in achieving their individual learning goals through tailored support, scaffolding tasks, and implementing strategies outlined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with Educators: Work closely with the Leader of Diverse Learning and classroom teachers to deliver adjusted programs and provide in-class and out-of-class support.
  • Promote Student Wellbeing: Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development using restorative practices and assist in identifying learning or behavioural challenges.
  • Assist in Classroom Activities: Help prepare, implement, and supervise learning activities, monitor student progress, and support students during excursions, camps, and extracurricular events.
