GROUNDS AND MAINTENANCE
Position Details
St Kieran Catholic Primary School is a co-educational, double stream primary school with a strong and vibrant community. The school has a current enrolment of 528 students from 3 Year Old Kindergarten to Year 6 with an Education Support Unit and a Regional Early Intervention Centre for Students with Disabilities. The school was originally established in 1920 by the Sisters of Mercy and maintains strong links with the Congregation.
The school has a very supportive parent and parish community that sees the St Kieran environment as a family. This relationship is encouraged and embraced by all.
The successful candidate must be available Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 3.00pm, with some weekend work required.
The grounds and maintenance person is responsible for the daily presentation of the school grounds and ensuring the school is maintained in a professional and safe manner as per the school maintenance plan.
The position requires a person with good interpersonal and organisational skills, and includes booking and meeting with various trades. Experience in a similar work environment is an advantage.
