EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER

Position Details
St Brigid’s is a single stream school catering for 201 students in Kindy to Year 6. Located in the beautiful South West, just 2 hours from Perth and 35 minutes from Bunbury. We strive to instill our school values of service, respect, kindness and learning in all of our students. The school is seeking a dedicated and inspiring educator, committed to developing the whole child, in an engaging and vibrant learning setting.

The school is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to work in either our 3 day (0.6FTE) Kindergarten or full-time in Pre Primary. This is an ongoing position commencing on the 1st January 2027.

Selection Criteria
- Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework and evidence based practices and can apply this knowledge to challenge and engage learners in the Early Years.
- Display highly proficient communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with peers, students and families.
- Be dedicated to the advancement of each student’s holistic development and committed to providing the highest standard of care and education.
- Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills to create a supportive and safe learning environment.
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of various assessment and reporting strategies and the need to provide effective and timely feedback to parents and students.
