The program supports career changers to complete an eligible postgraduate Initial Teacher Education (ITE) program while developing their teaching skills through a paid internship in a Queensland state school. Program benefits
If you are successful, you will receive a $20,000 pre-tax scholarship, paid in four instalments throughout your first year of full-time ITE studies. In your second year, you'll undertake a paid internship in a Queensland state school, where you'll work part-time (25 hours a fortnight) while studying part-time and receive a full-time intern teacher salary.…
