Role description

This advertised position requires a Facilities, Safety & Compliance Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring that the College's buildings, grounds and infrastructure are safe, compliant and effectively maintained to support teaching, learning and wellbeing across the College community.

The successful applicant will lead the College's facilities, maintenance and grounds operations while overseeing workplace health and safety, risk management and regulatory compliance obligations. The role is responsible for ensuring the College meets all relevant legislative, accreditation and operational requirements through proactive risk management, incident investigation, compliance monitoring, contractor management and staff training.

The Facilities, Safety & Compliance Coordinator will provide leadership and hands on support to a dedicated facilities and grounds team, fostering a collaborative and service-focused approach to maintaining and enhancing the College's physical environment. Working closely with College leadership, staff, contractors and regulatory agencies, the successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing safety, sustainability and operational excellence of Dominic College.

The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience in facilities management, workplace health and safety, risk and compliance, together with strong leadership, organisational and communication skills. A proactive approach, sound judgement and commitment to continuous improvement will be highly regarded.
