This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026

Cloverdale Primary School (PS) is highly regarded by the local community and is part of the Belmont Network of Schools. It is in the inner metropolitan suburb of Cloverdale, 10kms from the Perth CBD. The Role

Cloverdale PS is seeking a dynamic and proactive Special Needs Education Assistant to join their amazing team!

The successful applicant should have a high level of interpersonal skills to enable them to work collaboratively with staff members to meet the needs of students. They will ideally possess the knowledge and experience of working with students with a range of disabilities and learning difficulties and the ability to support student growth, both academically and socially, within the classroom setting. The successful applicant will ideally work under limited supervision and guidance and perform tasks that require discretion, judgement and initiative in achieving clearly defined outcomes determined by the teacher.

Experience in working with students with a variety of special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety and Trauma is highly desirable but not necessary. Experience with programs such as Team Teach, Zones of Regulation and Positi…
