This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026

Piara Waters Senior High School (SHS) is situated in the beautifully landscaped suburb of Piara Waters, approximately 25kms south of Perth. The school is surrounded by luscious greenery and forms part of the vibrant, multicultural community of Piara Waters. The school commenced with Year 7 students in 2023, and presently has Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 cohorts. Each year the school adds to its growing cohort, until it reaches Year 12 in 2028.

The Role

As Deputy Principal, Strategic Operations, you would play a key role in providing educational leadership and shaping a positive school culture. Responsibilities include collaborating with the administrative and senior leadership teams to develop and promote the school's values and vision. The Deputy Principal should utilise effective change management strategies for continuous improvement, assist in workforce effectiveness and lead and motivate staff to enhance student outcomes. 

The Deputy Principal would support the implementation of the Business Plan, including the provision of strategic leadership for the achievement of school-wide priorities. They would contribute to the Senior School through participative decision-making, policy development, and system establishment.
