At MLC School, we are committed to educating and inspiring young women to become fearless thinkers, agents of change, and compassionate leaders. We are seeking an experienced and collaborative HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this is a key advisory role that provides expert guidance across employee relations, industrial relations, workplace investigations, policy development, WHS, workers compensation, and compliance matters. You will partner closely with leaders across the School to support a positive, high-performing workplace culture while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
About the role
As HR Advisor, you will:
- Provide specialist advice on employee and industrial relations matters.
- Support leaders with performance management, conduct concerns, grievances, and workplace investigations.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and training initiatives.
- Manage WHS and workers compensation matters.
- Assist with compliance audits, reporting, and HR projects.
- Contribute to staff wellbeing initiatives and continuous improvement of HR practices.
- Support operational HR activities across the School.
About you
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and employment legislation.
