About the Role
St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Years 7-12 Curriculum Leader -Mathematics to join our Secondary Years team. Commencing in January 2027, this middle leadership position is responsible for the strategic direction, delivery and continuous improvement of the Mathematics curriculum across Years 7-12, ensuring high-quality learning experiences and strong student achievement.
Working closely with school leaders and teaching staff, you will lead curriculum development, support contemporary pedagogical practice, and foster a collaborative, future-focused culture that reflects the College's commitment to excellence in Christian co-education.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an exemplary and humane leader of teaching and learning, setting high professional standards, modelling them for others and communicating with clarity and diplomacy.
- Lead and develop Mathematics teachers across Years 7-12, fostering a collaborative and high-performing department.
- Drive curriculum planning, implementation, review and compliance with QCAA, ACARA and other relevant curriculum requirements.
- Promote evidence-informed teaching practices that enhance student engagement, achievement and wellbeing.
- Oversee assessment, moderation, reporting and quality assurance processes across the department.
