Role description

Due to growth, Catherine McAuley School invites applications from passionate ESO Co-Educators (Curriculum) who would like to join our student focused, vibrant school community.

This  32.5 hours per weekpermanent position will commence 12/10/2026.  Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm weekdays, during school terms only.  

Please note: part-time positions (e.g. 3 days /week) are also available by negotiation at interview.

This Co-Educator position will suit ESO-Curriculum staff who prefer to provide one-on-one curriculum support to students with supplementary, substantial or extensive learning adjustments.

Key Responsibilities

  • A willingness to support the Catholic ethos and Mercy Tradition of Catherine McAuley School
  • Under teacher supervision create engaging learning materials and provide direct student support
  • Assist students individually and in small groups and demonstrated ability to support students with complex learning and behavioural needs
  • Have an understanding of inclusion and be able to implement learning programs which support the success of learners
  • Ability to work collaboratively with class teachers and wider staff

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Certificate IV in Education(or equivalent) and / or relevant demonstrated knowledge in a comparable role
  • Confidence and proficiency to assist students across literacy, numeracy and various subjects
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal and a proven ability to develop strong relationships with students and staff
