Role description
We are seeking an outstanding educator and aspiring leader to join our Diverse Learning Team as Learning Enrichment Coordinator, commencing Term 1, 2027.
This important middle leadership role supports the identification, development and achievement of high potential and gifted learners across Years 5-12. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with College leaders, teachers, students and families to ensure high potential and gifted learners are appropriately identified, supported, challenged and extended in their learning. The role is ideally suited to an experienced teacher with a passion for gifted education and talent development, who is committed to fostering excellence through contemporary, evidence-informed teaching and learning practices.
This is a Permanent Full-Time teaching position with up to 0.8 FTE time release (subject to timetabling) and a three-year (1-point) promotional appointment as Learning Enrichment Coordinator.
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Diverse Learning, the Learning Enrichment Co-Ordinator is responsible for leading initiatives that support high potential and gifted learners across Years 5-12. The role works closely with the Head of Diverse Learning, Director of Innovation and Learning, Director of Curriculum and classroom teachers to ensure enrichment opportunities are effectively planned, implemented and evaluated.
