Role description
Shire Christian School is seeking enthusiastic and passionate Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) teachers to join our growing team in 2027. We are fortunate to have a highly skilled and collaborative TAS department, and with increased staffing needs for next year, we are looking to welcome additional teachers to our team. We are open to full-time and part-time (job share) applications.
The areas of speciality within the TAS KLA that we are looking for are: Food Technology, Textiles Technology, Industrial Technology – Multimedia, and Technology – Stage 4. You do not need to be experienced in every area listed. Our existing team brings a wide range of expertise, and we are happy to shape the role around your strengths, interests and teaching passions where possible.
If you would like to discuss the role before applying, please feel free to contact the school using the email address below.
Nestled in the leafy suburb of Barden Ridge in Southern Sydney, Shire Christian School has been providing high quality Christian education for nearly 50 years. With over 900 students enrolled across Prep to Year 12, we seek to create a culture where every child is part of a community that feels like family. Shire Christian School is committed to whole student learning; both academically and pastorally. We support staff to adopt and implement a Learning Power approach to teaching and learning, under our Learning for Life framework. Under this framework, teachers work in a collaborative and collegial environment to design experiences that challenge, extend and enrich student learning.
