Scoresby Primary School is situated in the outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne within the City of Knox and has served its community since 1872. Scoresby PS celebrated 150 years of continuous education in 2022, being one of the first 130 schools established by the  Victorian Department of Education in 1872.  The school was relocated from the original site to its current location in 1976. Student enrolment sits around the 110-student mark,  with future growth anticipated. We currently have 6 grades in 2026. Our specialist programs are ¿ Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Science, Robotics and Cultural Studies. 

The school is a central part of this community. Community events are well supported by the school. The values of Honesty Excellence Acceptance Respect and Trust underpin the community expectations ¿ the HEART of Scoresby is at the core of all our interactions. Much work has been done to focus staff on Teaching and Learning with an emphasis on the gathering and interpretation of key data to inform planning and teaching.  Staff willingly commit to professional learning and are constantly looking to implement best practice in their classroom programs. Scoresby`s curriculum delivery emphasizes the development of exemplary teaching and quality learning. These priorities promote the growth of English and Mathematics, including the use of Digital Technologies within a balanced Integrated Curriculum.
