Role description
Selection Criteria
KSC1 Careers and Pathways Knowledge
Demonstrated knowledge of career development principles and senior secondary pathways, including VCE, VCE VM, VET, School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships, tertiary education, training and employment pathways, with the capacity to provide accurate and appropriate advice to students and families.
KSC2 Student Support and Career Counselling
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students and provide individualised careers and pathway support, including career counselling, subject selection, Career Action Plans, transition planning and support for students at risk of disengagement.
KSC3 Organisation, Administration and Compliance
Highly developed organisational and administrative skills, including the capacity to coordinate careers, work experience and pathway programs, maintain accurate student records, manage documentation and compliance requirements, and meet competing deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
KSC4 Communication, Collaboration and Partnerships
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with students, families, school staff, employers, Registered Training Organisations, tertiary providers and community organisations to support successful student pathways and transitions.
