Role description
Selection Criteria
1. A relevant tertiary qualification in delivery of wellbeing services to young people with high risk behaviours. Including demonstrated experience and capacity to integrate community services and support agencies effectively to children, young people and their families.
2. Demonstrated professional knowledge and experience and the capacity to deliver the required services including case management and associated recordkeeping, in a secondary school setting.
3. A proven record of working constructively in various team settings.
4. Demonstrated experience and expertise working with high risk students in a school setting and an ability to develop behavioural plans for these students.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of Department of Education & Training wellbeing policies and procedures.
6. Demonstrated experience working in a multicultural setting.
Role
Range 3 is distinguished by the introduction of management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services. The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field. It seeks to gain cooperation of other staff members or members of the school community to achieve specific objectives, such as in school administration, operations or educational programs.
