Role description

Selection Criteria

SC1 Demonstrated technical knowledge and understanding of Human Resource management practices including employment conditions, personnel conditions and requirements relating to the range of staff employed in a large secondary school, Demonstrated capacity to provide advice and support to management and staff with respect to Human Resources.

SC2 Demonstrated proficiency in the use of office systems, computer software or technical equipment as relevant to the position i.e. eduPay, CASES21, Google Suite, SRP, eduSafe, Compass, Timetabler. 

SC3 Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with a range of people including school staff, students, parents and the wider community ensuring confidentiality is always maintained. Demonstrated ability to lead the work of staff and actively contribute to a team. 

SC4 High level organisational skills with a demonstrated ability for effective time management establishing priorities, procedures and guidelines relating to the work area.

SC5 Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate unexpected challenges, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in meeting the evolving needs and circumstances of the school environment. Demonstrated capacity to contribute to the culture of a school.
