Student Wellbeing and First Aid Officer - Position Range 3

Selection Criteria

SC1: Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and provide provide wellbeing support and effective first aid support to students and respond appropriately to student and staff health needs. 

SC2: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing health-related incidents, maintaining accurate medical records, and following appropriate health and safety procedures. Ability to remain calm, prioritise effectively and provide support in emergency situations.

SC3: Demonstrated high-level organisational and administrative skills, including the commitment to student wellbeing, privacy, confidentiality and professional standards.

SC4: Demonstrated ability to support student enrolments, process documentation, maintain confidential student information, update databases and systems, and ensure administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

SC5: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with students, families, staff and external stakeholders. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to provide a welcoming, professional and supportive service to the school community. Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively when responding to student wellbeing, health and enrolment enquiries.

SC6: Demonstrated understanding policy and procedure and the importance of OHS and Child safe standards by contributing positively to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
