Role description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, qualified OSHC Educators to join our team, with multiple casual positions available.

We are particularly interested in applicants who are available to work during each Vacation Care period and most afternoons, especially Tuesday to Thursday. However, we warmly encourage all interested candidates to apply.

 

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • An ability to actively support and contribute to the Catholic ethos of St Francis School and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment before, during and after the completion of the daily program.
  • Knowledge of planning, programming and observations will be highly regarded.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children aged 4 - 12 years of age and working in a team environment, to deliver best outcomes for families and children.
  • Contribute to and involvement with the educational program under direction to provide a high-quality program for all children.
  • High level of availability is desirable
  • Assist with the smooth running of the OSHC / Vacation Care routine in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures under the direction of the Director.

Qualified educators will be supported to upskill and work towards promotion as a Responsible Person with our service.

The role requires the OSHC Educator to work a combination of the following:

  • Before School Care
  • After School Care
  • School Pupil Free Days
  • Vacation Care
  • Split Shifts
  • Number of shifts will be negotiable
