TEMPORARY HEAD OF LEARNING AREA – ENGLISH 2027 (2 YEAR CONTRACT)
Position Details
The Head of Learning Area – English provides strategic and instructional leadership to the English Learning Area, ensuring excellence in teaching, learning and curriculum delivery across Year 7-12. The role is responsible for fostering a collaborative, innovative and high-performing team committed to improving student achievement and engagement.
Working in partnership with the Leadership Team, the Head of Learning Area promotes a culture of continuous improvement, supports staff professional growth, ensures curriculum compliance, and contributes to the Catholic identity and mission of the College.
Selection Criteria
• Minimum of a Diploma of Education.
• Current registration with Teachers Registration Board Western Australia.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Willingness to obtain Accreditation for Middle Leaders in Catholic Schools.
