Position Details
Music is an integral and vibrant part of life at Nagle Catholic College. Held in high regard, the College is now seeking an innovative educator to continue to build the College Music program into the future.  The successful applicant will have a genuine love of music and be able to share their enthusiasm with students.

The Music Coordinator is a member of the middle leadership team of the College. They are responsible for assisting the academic music program and coordinating the extra-curricular program at Nagle.

The extra-curricular program includes:
•    Instrumental (Peripatetic) program.
•    Music ensembles.
•    Bands.
•    Choirs.

In addition, the Music Coordinator is expected to promote music performance in the College community as well as through student participation in local school and community events, taking music beyond the classroom and facilitating students’ growth.

The focus of music for the future at Nagle Catholic College is to develop a broad and dynamic program and a wide selection of choral and instrumental ensembles, orchestral groups and bands.

The successful applicant will need to possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be committed to an environment where the use of emerging technologies and other pedagogical initiatives are seen as exciting opportunities to enhance learning.  The Music Coordinator should be a creative person with a genuine passion for promoting student performance both within and outside the College, with due deference to maintaining and building the College ethos.
