Role description

We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Eglinton Beach Primary School (PS) opened its doors to the local community of Eglinton in February 2025. It is the first school to open in the suburb of Eglinton and is an inclusive school catering for children from Kindergarten to Year Six with an integrated Education Support program for up to 50 children.

The school caters for the growing community in the Northern Coastal Suburb and focuses on providing a welcoming, caring environment where each child's individual needs are catered for. Foundation Principal, Mrs Vanessa Blythe, worked closely with the local community to create the vision for the school - Together we Excel, Forward we Grow.

Strong relationships with families and community are prioritised to provide a genuine partnership to support every child's school journey. Creating a culturally responsive, inclusive environment where each child feels, safe, welcome and thrives to achieve to their full potential is the basis of the school's ethos.
