Role description
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026
At Leeming Senior High School Education Support Centre (SHS ESC) children thrive in our engaging and innovative learning environment. Our students come from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds - a feature which serves to enrich our learning environment. Working with our community, we achieve our school vision to have a warm, welcoming and connected school community.
The positive and inclusive environment we create ensures that all members of our school community feel welcomed, safe, respected and valued. At Leeming SHS ESC, we provide specialised educational programs to meet the needs of our students with disabilities who are aged from 12 to 18 years. We are located just 17 kilometres south of Perth close to the Kwinana Freeway.

The Role
The successful applicant should display a strong understanding of the Positive Behaviour in Schools framework and Trauma Informed Practice, with a growth mindset evident in their approach to working with students, parents/carers and staff. You would have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across the school and wider community, including families, teachers, other schools, external agencies and community groups.
