Position Information
The Hills School at Northmead is a caring, supportive learning community providing quality educational programs for students with a diverse range of learning needs, from Kindergarten to Year 12. The Hills School caters for 118 students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, which may include physical disabilities, sensory impairments or Autism Spectrum Disorder. 76% of students have a language background other than English and 3% of our students identify as Aboriginal.
With our belief that communication forms the foundation for learning we value communication in all forms and believe that students have a right to be heard. We seek to know each of our students, value them as individuals and care for their needs in all that we do. This common purpose underpins all of our practices, systems and processes and ultimately leads to high impact learning opportunities for our students.
