Position Information
Glendenning Public School has a vibrant, inclusive and culturally rich school community located on Dharug Country in Sydney's western suburbs. There is a student population of 430 students. 61% of our students have English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D). There are 30 languages represented within our school community, with Punjabi (91) the most prevalent, followed by Gujarati (28) and Hindi (25). 24 students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
Glendenning Public School has 17 mainstream classes and 2 inclusive education Multi Categorical classes. There is a strong culture of collaboration underpinned by high expectations, explicit teaching and restorative practices, creating the enabling conditions for learning across the school.A small P&C supports the school through fundraising and other activities.
