Role description
Trinity College Colac is seeking applications for the Position of Leadership (POL) - Director of Catholic Identity and Mission, commencing in 2027 for the 2027-2029 POL cycle.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead within a new Position of Leadership structure and strategic plan cycle where you will lead the fostering and nurturing the College's Catholic identity, faith life, and mission.
Successful applicants will demonstrate:
- Trinty College’s mission of Inspired by Jesus, We Make a Difference in daily work and interactions with students, colleagues and community; and commitment to the ethos of Trinity College as a DOBCEL Catholic school in the Edmund Rice and Mercy traditions
- accreditation to teach Religious Education and/or lead in a Catholic school
- a sound understanding of Sacred Scripture, Catholic theology, Catholic Social Teaching, Church traditions and liturgy, Contemporary Church documents and knowledge of the evangelising mission of Catholic schools
- knowledge of Religious Education curriculum frameworks
- awareness of adolescent faith development and spiritual formation
- experience designing and leading faith formation programs for students and staff, organising liturgies, retreats, prayer experiences and sacramental celebration
