The Opportunity 

St Martin de Porres School is seeking enthusiastic Qualified OSHC Educators to join our school on a casual basis. In this role, you will work under general supervision as a qualified educator supporting St Martin de Porres School in the provision of a quality OSHC service. The Educator will be responsible for assisting the OSHC service to lead a balanced and engaging learning environment which is centred upon the needs of the children and outlined in the National Quality Standards.

Hours are available in Before School, After School and Vacation Care.

Qualified OSHC Educators may be required to act as a Responsible Person on an ad hoc basis, in line with the service needs and regulatory requirements. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of OSHC and Vacation Care programs.
  • Support children’s wellbeing, inclusion and daily routines, including personal care where required.
  • Foster positive, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, School and Service policies and the National Quality Framework.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist with general administrative tasks.
  • Participate in team meetings, training and ongoing professional development.
