Wamberal Public School has a student population of 482 students, with 20 mainstream and three inclusive education classes. Nine percent of students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and seven percent identifying as EALD (English as an Additional Language/ Dialect) The school is a proud member of the Tuggerah Lakes Learning Community and Tuggerah Lakes Principals Network. We work in close partnership with Kuriwa AECG to strengthen student outcomes for our Aboriginal students through culturally responsive practices, meaningful collaboration, and community engagement. Our staff are committed to explicit teaching, high potential and gifted education, and strengthening collaborative teaching practices to drive continuous improvement in student growth and achievement in literacy and numeracy.
