Role description

Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview is a Catholic boys’ school in the Jesuit tradition. Located on picturesque grounds in Lane Cove, this leading independent school delivers a holistic education for day and boarding students from Years 5 to 12.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Drama teacher to join our team for Term 4, 2026. The successful applicant will contribute to a vibrant educational community and support students in Years 7 to 10 as they deepen their understanding of the dramatic arts.

The College is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Drama teacher for a part-time, maximum-term contract in Term 4, 2026, with flexibility to offer either 0.5 FTE or 0.6 FTE.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 The successful applicant needs to have the ability to teach the following course/s:

  • Stage 4/5 Drama

The successful applicant will:

  • be accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to be eligible to teach in NSW
  • be an outstanding classroom teacher of Drama across Stages 4 & 5
  • demonstrate collaborative practices and a commitment to working as part of a team
  • demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning
  • demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College
  • be willing to contribute to the Co-curriculum Programs at the College
