Role description

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

St Paul’s Primary School in Karratha, is seeking a passionate, reflective, and collaborative leader to join our team. St Paul’s invites an outstanding Catholic educator and accomplished leader to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a leadership position for someone ready to lead whole-school practice, develop others.

Selection Criteria
EXPERIENCE - With the Principal undertaking national responsibilities and periods of extended leave, the successful applicant will have regular, supported opportunities to lead the school as Acting Principal. Individual mentoring, external coaching and purposeful development will prepare a highly capable leader for future principalship.
CATHOLIC IDENTITY - Be an active member of the Catholic Church who visibly witnesses Gospel values and places Christ at the centre of leadership. Strengthen the faith, liturgical and sacramental life of the school in partnership with students, staff, families and parish.
EDUCATION - Be an exemplary teacher and instructional leader who will drive the St Paul's pedagogical framework, ensuring every classroom reflects clarity, consistency, care and high expectations. Lead continuous improvement through instructional coaching, lesson observation, purposeful feedback and high-quality professional learning.
