Role description
This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency
Margaret River Primary School (PS) is a level 5 school that is connected to the values and ethos of the greater Margaret River community. There is strong community support for the school with parents and the local community actively assisting and engaging in school activities. The Role
The Deputy Principal (DP) assumes a pivotal role, working closely with the Principal and the administrative team to shape the school's identity. Educational leadership is a key responsibility, involving the active development and promotion of the school's values and ethos. This includes the development and operationalisation of processes to support the delivery of the school’s strategic priorities. The DP champions a collaborative approach, encouraging not only staff but also volunteers and community members to actively share ownership of the school's vision and goals.
