THE ROLE
The Head of Technical and Applied Studies (TAS) fulfils a key role within the Senior School and is responsible for, under the direction of the Dean of Studies – Senior School, the educational leadership within the TAS Department and wider College community. This leadership encompasses curriculum, pedagogy and professional growth and development of staff. The Head of TAS is responsible for leading and transforming a team of talented educators to enable best practice learning and engagement for students in Years 7-12.
A love of teaching and learning, initiative, an optimistic outlook, great organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional learning are all pre-requisites for the position.
