Learning Assistant (Teacher Aide) – Primary

About the Opportunity
John Paul College Primary team are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Assistant (Teacher Aide) to join them ASAP until the end of Term 4, 2026.

This role will work Monday – Friday, 4 hours per day, during term-time in our supportive and dynamic Primary College.

About the Role
As a Learning Assistant at JPC, you will:
•    Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
•    Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
•    Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
•    Support students with diverse learning needs
•    Prepare classroom materials and resources as directed by the teacher
•    Supervise students during school activities
•    Work collaboratively with other College staff to promote student well-being and achievement

About You
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about education and eager to become a key part of our Primary College team.

Ideally, you will hold a Certificate III in Education Support and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to providing high-quality student support. Your knowledge, experience, and practical skills will empower you to contribute effectively to student learning and growth.
