Role description

The Opportunity

An exciting leadership opportunity exists for an accomplished and purpose-driven educational leader to join Catholic Special School as Head of Campus at Our Lady of La Vang.

This unique opportunity is to lead a specialist campus dedicated to supporting students with complex learning, communication, health and wellbeing needs to thrive, belong and achieve.

As a key member in the Executive Leadership Team, you will work closely with the Principal to shape the strategic direction of the campus, foster excellence in teaching and learning, lead multidisciplinary teams, and strengthen partnership with families and the broader community. You will play a pivotal role in advancing a unified one-school approach while ensuring every student is supported through personalised, high-quality educational experiences.

 

The Role

As Head of Campus, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of campus life, creating a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Leading and promoting the Catholic identity, mission and values of the school
  • Driving high-quality teaching and learning outcomes through evidence-informed practice and strong instructional leadership.
  • Overseeing student wellbeing, safeguarding, compliance and campus operations
  • Leading, developing and empowering a high-performing multidisciplinary workforce
