Role description
Established in 1982 and located in Sydney’s north-west, Tangara School for Girls works in partnership with parents to form each child’s character, educating them for personal and academic excellence. Tangara is currently seeking to appoint x2 suitably qualified Primary Teachers for Kindergarten/Stage 1. Both roles are full-time, permanent positions commencing in Term 1, 2027.
To be successful in this role, you would need to confidently demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality teaching to students in Stage 1.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
- Capacity to differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of a diverse range of students.
- Ability to positively manage students’ classroom behaviour.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing evaluation and improvement.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Understanding of, and support for the Vision, Mission, Values and ethos of the school.
