About the Role

In this role, you will support case management processes for young people in custody at Ashley Youth Detention Centre (AYDC), providing practical and administrative assistance in line with legislative requirements. Working within a complex and challenging environment, you will contribute to a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement tailored plans that meet the individual needs of young people.

You will play an important role in supporting coordinated reintegration services, helping young people transition back into the community while contributing to the continuous improvement of case management systems and processes. This role offers valuable opportunities to build your expertise in working with complex cases, collaborate across services, and further develop your professional practice.

  • You are an adaptable, resilient, open minded Social Worker who work effectively in a complex, high‑pressure environment within established safeguards.
  • Ideally, you have experience working in areas such as youth work, mental health, schools, residential care, child safety, community services or youth justice. You bring a genuine commitment to supporting young people and improving outcomes.
