Exciting opportunity as a Principal Training and Project Officer within the First Nations Justice Office (FNJO) to support the development and operation of Indigenous Justice Programs (IJP) with a focus on the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of IJP programs which operate in some remote discrete Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and work to strengthening organisational governance and service delivery broadly for Community Justice Groups (CJGs).

The FNJO was established to address the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Queensland's criminal justice system and meet Queensland's National Agreement on Closing the Gap (the National Agreement) justice targets.
The FNJO sits within the Justice Policy and Reform division and is one of five divisions in the Department of Justice. The division consists of approximately 200 employees delivering the following functions:
