DIRECTOR - ENGAGEMENT

Position Details
Your day to day
As the Director - Engagement you are responsible for leading the engagement portfolio at the College and promoting personal excellence for students, at all levels. Including:
•Providing effective management over the Learning Support, First Nations Education and Education Support teams.
•Overseeing the Gifted and Talented Program.
•Working collaboratively with other leaders to link curriculum and pastoral teams in the effective and coordinated support of student needs.
•Utilising a strong knowledge base of critical learning and cognitive elements that underpin effective and constructive learning and teaching practice, to increase inclusion of the full spectrum of learners.

Selection Criteria
Skills & experience
•Supportive of the Catholic ethos of the College
•Be able to demonstrate a successful record of teaching and leadership experience
•Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills
•Be able to demonstrate appropriate leadership competencies to successfully achieve the Key Areas of Accountability listed in the Role Description
•Be committed and supportive of working in an innovative learning environment
•Demonstrate the capacity to work as a member of a team
•Holds or progression towards Accreditation for Middle Leadership in a Catholic School
