Charlton Christian College is a K–12 co-educational Christian school located in Fassifern, Lake Macquarie. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centred education of excellence that empowers students to develop their God-given potential.
As part of our continued growth and a recent internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced and passionate educational leader to join our team as Head of Primary commencing January 2027. Reporting to the Assistant Principal, the Head of Primary provides strategic and operational leadership of the Primary School (K-6), ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, wellbeing and Christian formation.
This key leadership role is responsible for fostering a Christ-centred culture, leading staff development, overseeing student wellbeing and behaviour, supporting the implementation of teaching and learning initiatives, and contributing to the strategic direction of the College.
About the Role
The Head of Primary will:
- Lead the Primary School in alignment with the College's mission, values and strategic direction.
- Foster a culture of spiritual growth, academic excellence and student wellbeing.
- Lead and develop staff, promoting high-quality teaching and pastoral practice.
- Support the implementation of College-wide teaching and learning frameworks.
- Build strong relationships with students, families and staff.
