Science (Biology) Teacher – 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Commencing Term 1, 2027

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and innovative Science (Biology) Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary School team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, commencing Term 1, 2027. This position is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is committed to high-quality teaching and learning and who is passionate about inspiring students to develop a lifelong appreciation for science.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to deliver engaging and academically rigorous Science programs across Stage 4 and Stage 5, with specialist knowledge and experience teaching Stage 6 Biology. The ability to teach an additional Science subject will be viewed favourably.
About the Role
Reporting to the Curriculum Leader and Head of Studies, the successful applicant will:
- Deliver engaging, innovative and differentiated Science lessons that inspire student learning and achievement.
- Demonstrate specialist knowledge of the NSW NESA Science and Stage 6 Biology syllabus, Investigating Science.
