Role description

James Sheahan Catholic High School, Orange
Permanent Part Time Position, 40hrs per fortnight
Commencing: 24 August 2026
From: $32.20 - $37.84 (depending on qualifications & experience)

Applications are now open for a motivated, self-starter to join the team at James Sheahan Catholic High School, Orange as the new Grounds and Maintenance Officer.

About you
The new Grounds and Maintenance Officer will:

  • Be able to work without supervision and to a deadline
  • Comply with WHS regulations
  • Confidence and skill in using equipment / tool operation
  • Good team, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a current WWCC and a current driver’s licence (LR/MR/HR licence would be an advantage)
  • Physical capacity for heavy lifting 
  • Willingness to support and provide assistance where necessary
