About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher for our Upper Primary Learning Support program. This is an excellent opportunity to plan and deliver exceptional teaching whilst creating and providing an environment in which students can unlock their potential.

This Part-Time role will work closely with Teachers across Years 5 and 6 in providing assistance to students across these year levels up until the end of Term 4.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess students to identify needs before planning and preparing materials to address learning needs
  • Utilising available methodologies to nurture students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
  • Ensure records, documentation, record keeping and Personalised Support Plans are maintained and up to date
  • Collaborate with teachers and work closely with parents to ensure appropriate student support
