Xavier College is seeking a skilled HSIE Teacher, who is an enthusiastic, talented professional able to work collaboratively and bring innovation and creativity to their learning areas with experience in teaching HSIE. This is a 12 month Temporary full-time position commencing asap!

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will fit the following criteria:

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, academic and pastoral dimension of College life. 

• Have experience teaching HSIE

• See themselves as learners and be committed to ongoing professional learning

• To collaborate and work as a team with all leaders and teachers to improve the learning of all students

• Integrate digital technology as an enabler and accelerator for student learning and professional learning;

• Demonstrate an understanding of curriculum and pedagogy

• Respond to complex real-world questions and authentic problems;

• Know and apply NESA and Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) requirements.
