Westmead PS is a large multicultural school with a student population of 709 students K-6, 98% of whom come from a Language Background other than English. In 2026 we welcomed our new support class. The school has an outstanding reputation for excellence in student academic achievement and growth. The students are highly motivated to learn, and the dedicated staff offer a dynamic learning environment and commitment to continuous improvement.
Westmead PS has an extensive creative and performing arts program culminating in an annual performance at Riverside Theatre. We also offer additional opportunities for sporting growth and success through involvement in gala days and external competitions including the Wanderers Cup for soccer.
