Role description
The Opportunity
This opportunity would suit an individual who is passionate about cyber security and technology risk management and is looking to broaden their experience in a specialist area that plays a critical role in protecting CESA's information, systems and services. The role will work closely with schools, ICT teams and external partners to strengthen cyber resilience, coordinate security initiatives and support cyber incident response activities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will contribute to:
- Implementing and monitoring cyber security controls and improvement initiatives.
- Identifying, assessing and reporting cyber security risks.
- Supporting cyber incident response activities and security investigations.
- Coordinating security testing, assurance activities and vendor engagements.
- Maintaining cyber security documentation, standards and operational procedures.
- Delivering cyber security awareness and education activities across CESA.
- Monitoring security alerts and contributing to the ongoing improvement of CESA's cyber security posture.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience or a strong interest in cyber security, ICT operations or technology risk.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- The ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
