Role description
Port Augusta, a small city about 322 kilometres north of the state capital, Adelaide. Formerly a seaport, it is now a road traffic and railway junction city with much to be discovered about the history as a traditional meeting place for Aboriginal people. Port Augusta West PS are seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic primary years teacher to join our innovative and engaging team, to teach in our special options class. The incumbent will provide individualised support for students with additional learning needs, working collaboratively with teachers, families, and support services to ensure every student can access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve success. Through tailored learning programs and inclusive practices, they help students develop the skills they need to thrive both academically and socially. The class consists of an R-6 cohort.
