Role description
Paralowie R-12 School is seeking a passionate and skilled Biology / Science Teacher to join our secondary team. We foster a culture of high expectations, evidence-informed practice, and continuous improvement, where every student is supported to achieve success.
This position offers the opportunity to teach Science across Years 7-12, including SACE Biology for suitably qualified and experienced applicants. We welcome teachers with expertise across middle and senior years who are committed to delivering engaging, contemporary, and inquiry-rich science programs that inspire curiosity and deepen students' understanding of the natural world.
As a member of our collaborative Science faculty, you will work alongside colleagues who use evidence-informed pedagogies and responsive, explicit teaching practices to design authentic learning experiences that strengthen the SACE and South Australian Curriculum dispositions and capabilities. Through inquiry-rich learning, you will foster students who are curious, responsible and open-minded, while developing their ability to inquire scientifically, reason with evidence, communicate with purpose, and apply their learning to engage with and influence the world around them.
