Riverstone High School is a co-educational high school situated in the North-West of Sydney on Dharug Country and is one of four schools in the Nirimba Collegiate. The school currently enrolls 880 students experiencing substantial growth from residential development, with a diverse student population that includes 24% of students from a language background other than English and 9% who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Riverstone High School recently restored its comprehensive status by welcoming Year 11 in 2021 and Year 12 in 2022, fulfilling a long-standing community goal, and operates an Inclusive Education unit alongside mainstream teaching. The school fosters a high expectation learning culture that caters to diverse learners and maintains strong partnerships with primary schools to support student learning throughout their schooling.
