Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48 hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
Hale School is seeking applications from enthusiastic and well-qualified professionals for the position of an Economics Teacher commencing in Term 1 2027. Economics at Hale School has a long-standing reputation for academic excellence and is a highly regarded subject within the School. We are seeking a passionate educator who can inspire students to engage with contemporary economic issues, think critically about the world around them and develop the analytical skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom. The successful applicant will join a collaborative and high-performing department with a proud history of achievement and a commitment to exceptional teaching and learning.
The successful applicant will:
have a proven history as an Economics teacher, with the ability to teach ATAR Economics.
have experience working in high-functioning teams.
be familiar with the Western Australian Curriculum.
have an understanding of, and empathy for, the learning needs and social, emotional, and spiritual development of boys.
have a firm commitment to independent schooling and a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican traditions.
hold appropriate academic and teaching qualifications.
