Commencing Term 1 2027
Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48-hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
Hale School is seeking applications from enthusiastic and well-qualified professionals for the position of a Physics Teacher commencing in Term 1 2027. Physics at Hale School has a strong tradition of academic excellence and plays a central role in developing students' curiosity about the natural world and the principles that govern it. Experience in teaching ATAR Physics is essential. The successful applicant will join the Physics Department to cover two staff members each taking a term of long service leave. The role may require teaching specialised Physics classes to Year 10 to Year 12 boys as well as general Science to boys in Years 8 to 10.
The successful applicant will:
have a proven history as a Physics teacher, with the ability to teach ATAR.
experience teaching Year 8 – 10 Science is desirable.
enjoy working in high-functioning teams.
be familiar with the Western Australian Curriculum.
have an understanding of, and empathy for, the learning needs and social, emotional, and spiritual development of boys.
have a firm commitment to independent schooling and a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican traditions.
hold appropriate academic and teaching qualifications.
